Hello and welcome to Cooking Tackle, a Blog that brings you to know about home cooking Indonesian food with beautiful photography.

My name is Ira, I am the author/cook/photographer behind Cooking Tackle and I live in Bali-Indonesia (Bali also known as Island of the Gods )

I started this blog since 2008 and I blogged all my home cooking recipes as one here. Cooking is fraction of my life, it’s like the blood running giving a life into my vain, I love tasty food especially healthy and simple home cooking.

Principally, I cook mostly Indonesian food and I make it as an icon label in my blog.
Understanding and learning Indonesian food has been in my interest and also an enormous tribute to conserve the Indonesian food heritage. I genuinely feel proud of that.

Frankly, I do include other variety of recipes in addition to improve my cooking knowledge and the same time always feel fascinating in the food discoveries.

My kitchen is my paradise…
My blog is my advantage place where I can share my recipes, my passion in cooking, food photography and being creative person.
